Julie Caldarone is the Director of World Languages for Boston Public Schools. In this role, she oversees World Languages programming for 70 schools, 150 teachers, 18,500 students, and 11 languages. Julie is a former Boston Public Schools high school Spanish teacher, teacher of English as a second language, teacher of students with moderate disabilities and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. In addition she is a former Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University and Boston University. Julie is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Foreign Languages Association (MaFLA) and an active member of NECTFL,  NADSFL, and ACTFL. Prior to joining Boston Public Schools, Julie was a Vice President in the financial services industry in Boston. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Administration from Northeastern University, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University, a Master's Degree in Education and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Simmons College.
